This is the day I brag about how wonderful my daughter is. She is also a dahlia expert.
I had two dahlias which were my favorites from last year's garden. When I dug them up they were both a huge mass of tubers. I wasn't sure how to tell which ones to keep and plant so today after she saved me from the wheelchair debacle she showed me how read the mass of tubers.
We ended up with many more starts than I need so some of her dahlia fan club will benefit.
I can hardly wait to plant them! She also ordered me a couple of new soon to be favorite dahlias for me.
These two will have a front row in this year's garden.
I am so lucky.
