I have never bought holiday decorations in my life. Never, not for any occasion, I'm just not a decorate for the holidays kind of person.
But we've decided to take part in a Trunk or Treat my mom's church is holding, so I just went to Spirit Halloween to get ideas and price things out.
The plan is to put a tarp over the Tahoe's liftgate to create a dark, cave like area, and decorate with skulls, rodents, body parts, something called, "spooky fabric," and some cool red lanterns I found. I couldn't find a coffin to hold the candy, so I may build something.
Then I just need a cauldron over a fake fire filled with dry ice, water, and green glow sticks. Maybe carve a few jack-o-lanterns.
Two takeaways from this.
1) I NEVER thought I would ever set foot in a spirit halloween.
2) Holy shit this crap is expensive.
