This basically never happens, but today my Dad told me a story about when I was little.
He used to read to me from Winnie the Pooh, and he’d do SUCH good voices. His Piglet was truly world class.
Today he was talking about it and saying he remembered asking me why I closed my eyes while he was reading, instead of looking at the illustrations. And apparently I replied:
“The pictures in my head are always better.”
