#godotengine devs: I have recently dug into compiling the engine as well as writing C++ extensions for it using GDExtension. But technically I could also do that with modules inside the engine itself.
Now I wonder: Since I have to compile GDExtension for each target platform and recompiling each time the engine is upgraded... wouldn't it make more sense to add additional C++ code via modules?
It almost seems... easier?
What's your take?
