you have actualy confirmed things that has been few years ago behind banning yandex taxi operations in Baltic states. There has been real concern about customers data and they never been able make proof data are not being sent to Russia. I remember that time there has been big noise from Russian bots in digital universe about Baltics destroying free market. Seems that it was good call. I used to work with person who was part od development team of Moscow surveillance and also another one, who was somehow close to Russian great firewall development. The first things they said, run away from yandex when I was thinking using their taxi service instead of Bolt (Yandex was significantly cheaper), I don’t want to be paranoid, but I would not be surprised if there was a plan in yandex services in EU.
