CIA ia an easy scapegoat. And probably the wrong one, in my opinion.
It is easy to pin stuff on an agency that is secretive and well...made mistakes. I know a former analyst who is a hard-core Trumper, so it helps the narrative, but it is hard to believe it is just them. Also, working with some agency analysts and interrogators from time to time they struck me as genuine is their efforts to protect the nation.
Of course, these were not leaders either.
