Here's a simple way to "fix" the column width in new #Mastodon #UI. If like me you're also using the desktop browser version of mastodon.online (please let it just be a borked beta test!) you'll probably appreciated it.
It works with a bit of custom CSS that overrides Mastodon.online. I'll explain the steps:
note: this same method can be used to show images of cats on your local tax service portal etc. It's useful.
