Mom shows up 30-45 min earlier than planned. Why? "Because I didn't have anything to do".
And now watched me put away stuff around the apartment (mostly stuff taken out for hiking yesterday) and awkwardly stands around.
I actually asked her what she does all day at home and she was like "I go to the gym, hike twice a week, play bridge twice a week, read books. Run errands. I'm busy, some people my age sit round and do nothing."
She goes to the gym at most 3x a week for maybe an hour. And unless she's not telling me about all the stuff she's reading she isn't reading that much more than she did before she retired.
Currently sitting staring into space
[20 minute break because she asked me what to do about her computer situation and I had to show her macs weren't scary and weird]
