Oh, absolutely. There is a narrator who has done hundreds of books, mostly by female authors, and her voice just throws me every time. Her style is the aural equivalent of "best-seller" writing style, which I deeply dislike. Everything she narrates sounds like a breathless yet powerful CEO who runs the company despite the glass ceiling. Hearing her voice has made me drop a few books in the first five minutes.
