In a first for me, I just had a student submit a brief writing assignment in Chinese. I decided to machine translate it and it was ok. Then I wrote a comment asking if the student could please do the next assignment in English, and ran it through the machine translator into Chinese. I have no idea what comment I just sent, what the tone is, or how the student will take the feedback.
