Pretty much settled on this £277 Elegoo Naptune 4 Max. Have a basket built.
Adding some filaments, also good discounts there... PETG-CF or GF for £13.18... they sound like they have somewhat different properties. I think I probably want durability more than stiffness, so maybe the GF... OTOH... well... why not both? For that price...
Threw in spare brass and hardened nozzles, a spare extruder head... considered a spare plate too, though the Max plate is 40 quid.
