I am needing to research it some more, it doesn't come with just plain klipper out of the box so feeling a bit turned off on some fronts...
I am happy to have to tinker and nudge a bit mind, in exchange for a low price. The 3D printing consensus seems to be strongly for Bambu if you want "just works".
Sovol was my top pick for along time, it's more open-source-friendly, the SV08 is decent at 350x350x450 for https://sovol.uk/products/sovol-sv08-3d-printer
And they have kits to upgrade to enclosed.
But 350 doesn't feel like "enough" for this upgrade tome, the SV08 Max is where I'd rather be 500mm3, but is a big price jump: https://sovol.uk/products/sovol-sv08-max-3d-printer
Hm, Maybe Elegoo is a halfway house (runs klipper), it's 420x420x480 and has a deep discount at £277.00 right now: https://uk.elegoo.com/products/neptune-4-max-fdm-3d-printer
