I have the weirdest behaviour of my Android phone when on WiFi.
As soon as WiFi is activated the initial handshakes seems to be extremely slow. Up to the point that apps apparently think I am offline. It works just fine via mobile or when I activate a VPN with PCAPandroid.
First I thought the DNS of my ISP is slow, but changing that to Quad9 doesn't change anything. It seems like some sort of check which is done at the start of the connection is very slow, because
This has the funny effect that I start a video in NewPipe via LTE to then fastly switch on WiFi so it just works.
Not sure it has something to do with Android 16 or if they introduced/changed a setting that only affects WiFi...
