Today was my first day at work again since my odyssey of holidays, sickness and injury.
(One week holidays followed by two weeks of flu, followed by one week of ankle sprain with bone damage , followed by one week stationary hospital visit because of an epiglottal abscess that with an emergency operation, two days of ICU und 5 days of IV antibiotics that caused slight hallucinations and severely depressive mood, followed by a week of stationary hospital stay at a different hospital with emergency operation and 5 days of IV antibiotics but this time without hallucinations, because the first hospital discharged me too soon and had a critical delay in microbiology diagnostics which lead to me still having an active infection in the epiglottis oh and the second hospital stay and emergency operation was totally unnecessary coz while my epiglottis was again double its size, there was no pus present, which would have been seen before I was intubated if they would have listened to me and did some imaging like an x-ray and if they would have called the first hospital they could have gotten the microbiology results and could have discharged me with oral antibiotics the same day, followed by another week of oral antibiotics at home.)
AND IT FELT SO DAMN GOOD TO BE BACK AT WORK AND WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT INCONTINENT OR NURSES TELLING BEHIND YOUR BACK YOU HAVE MENTAL ILLNESS COZ OF THE SIDE EFFECTS FROM THE ANTIBIOTICS!
It had been 7 weeks all in all...😩
So relieved 🙃
