It's too dependent on humans. Just like you couldn't fabricate a covid global hysteria in 1950, you can't change bitcoin consensus today. If inflation ever becomes a thing of past generations, that culture can (and will) be brainwashed into changing consensus "for the greater good" or whatever. Physical gold might still be a thing, though. I hope I'm wrong.
