My wife is awake now, but most of her brain has not activated yet according to the EEG. Mentally she's an infant. She can't speak or understand, and her muscle movements are involuntary. She's starting to recognize things though. Sometimes if I smile at her she'll smile back at me. I was showing her pictures and videos and it showed reactivity on the EEG that wasn't there a few days ago. Over the next several days they tell me more parts of her brain will come back online and she'll start getting her functions back.
