No one talks about it and then there is immense pressure at the hospital after birth to go a certain way. We had two different nurses at two different hospitals say "you should do XYZ because we don't want a dead baby on our hands do we?" We ended up following our own Weston A price baby formula when not breastfeeding. Couldn't stand the idea of feeding formula that first ingredient is corn syrup solids.
