Not sure what kind of virus I got… but I wanted to share a this with you all here. The last two months have been really busy. I’ve been working with a few amazing people to put together a Nostr booth for THREE back-to-back conferences in LatAm. What started as a simple “let’s do a booth and a few panels” has turned into something way bigger than I expected: full Nostr days packed with workshops, onboarding, dev sessions, merch, local events, content creation, and so much more. 😅 I won’t lie, it’s been a lot, and I’m still figuring things out… but I’m working hard to get there. The support from the community has meant so much to me, and I’m deeply grateful, especially as I’m still new here and have a lot to learn. Some incredible people have already gotten behind the initiative, and I hope they can speak to the effort happening behind the scenes. 🙏 It also means the world when people share and talk about this, as it helps build awareness and keep the momentum going. Massive thanks to the organizers too—we’ve scored amazing booth spaces and seriously, after seeing how much booths usually cost, their generosity is next level! The local communities have been incredibly supportive, helping me organize dedicated Nostr Days after each conference. They’re always eager to listen to my questions and brainstorm solutions whenever I come to them with a new idea. We’ve secured some amazing venues in each city, including the Community Center at La Crypta and the iconic Bitcoin Mansion at Bitcoin Beach in El Salvador. Here's what’s being planned for each Nostr Day, in each city: ➡️Nostr 101 Workshop (Morning): Introduction to Nostr and its key concepts ➡️Technical Workshop (After lunch): A deeper dive into the technology ➡️Onboarding Workshop (Afternoon): Hands-on sessions with Nostr apps I’d love to hear your thoughts on what people might like to see or experience, or any ideas on what we could showcase. Your feedback will help shape these events! And let’s not forget the amazing podcasters who have trusted me and invited me onto their shows. That being said, we could still use some extra hands, voices, and support. This has been organized on a tight budget, with everything being offered at cost, but there are still expenses that need to be covered. We’ve come such a long way, with so much work already put in. Any help—whether it’s sharing this or contributing, even just a small amount—will go a long way towards making these events as meaningful as possible. 💜 Even if it’s $1, or $21 or $100.
