Smol speech...&#xA;&#xA;FREE SPEECH is a property of society (not Bitcoin, not X, not any property or platform) to let truth rise and prevent tyranny. &#xA;&#xA;Its purpose is to enable you to speak freely without fear or coercion or punishment by an authority. &#xA;&#xA;This way, truth isn&#39;t stifled, and peope are not gaslit towards tyrannical rule (see Orwell&#39;s writings).&#xA;&#xA;Free speech is not a thing where you have a right for your voice to be heard or amplified.&#xA;&#xA;Everyone has the right to speak, but no one has the right to be heard. &#xA;&#xA;This is consistent with the non aggression principle (imagine being told that it is the law that you have to read a book or write particular things in a book said by someone).&#xA;&#xA;Only a coercive authority power can stifle speech in society. The authority power makes up the rules and breaches human rights by making arbitrary laws against citizens &#34;for their own protection&#34;. To limit there unethical power, we must uphold and fight for free speech.&#xA;&#xA;If Elon for example, mutes a topic on his platform, he has the right to do that because X is his private property. You don&#39;t have the right to tell Elon which voices should be amplified or muted. But if the government does it and he obeys then that is interference of free speech.&#xA;&#xA;Also, if people are being thrown in jail by the government for saying things on X, or anywhere, that is against free speech.&#xA;&#xA;Now Bitcoin...&#xA;&#xA;Bitcoin is designed to be money, and you are free to want that and fight for it.&#xA;&#xA;Other people want it to be something else, you are free to fight that, or it becomes something you don&#39;t want.&#xA;&#xA;Bitcoin is not a representation of free speech, it&#39;s a representation of your property rights. &#xA;&#xA;Someone is shitting on your lawn, and you are respecting their rights to do it. You don&#39;t need to consider free speech and censorship here.&#xA;&#xA;Censorship is actually part of the CONSENSUS RULES. Eg double spending is not allowed. &#xA;&#xA;A free speech advocate who is misinformed might incorrectly say that his speech is being thwarted for not being allowed to double spend. You see how that logic breaks apart? &#xA;&#xA;Bitcoin is not a free speech platform, Is it carefully consensus-censored environment (not authority censored) to enable money transactions without the possibility for anyone to stop it. &#xA;&#xA;When we say Bitcoin is censorship resistant, it&#39;s referring to the inability for an authority to stop a payment. Not the ability for anyone to do whatever they want and shit on the Bitcoin lawn.&#xA;&#xA;Stand up for what you want, run Parmanode, and install Bitcoin Knots with it (the default).&#xA;&#xA;Umbrel is completely shit and supports shitcoinery. Also if you switch from Core to Bitcoin Knots with it, you&#39;ll have to redownload all the blocks. &#xA;&#xA;Instead flash Parmanode on the micro SD card and import your Umbrel drive so that you don&#39;t have to redownload the blockchain when you install Bitcoin Knots.&#xA;&#xA;You can also get a ready-made ParmanodL with Knots which is a wallet and node laptop in one, that is already built and fully synced.&#xA;&#xA;I&#39;m grateful that nostr:nprofile1qqs9df4h2deu3aae83fmet5xmrlm4w5l9gdnsy3q2n7dklem7ezmwfcpg3mhxw309umxcetgdpukgumjw35xzemdd9envat4xe682cmwv3m85aehvd6kyur3dd58v7re0ymk5mmfda3ngdtdddehydr9v9jzummwd9hkutcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0f09vg9 also make it easy to run Knots. </html></oembed>
