That is the novelty, 1500 years after Christ.&#xA;&#xA;The Trinity is not defined in the bible.&#xA;The Canon of Scripture is not defined in the bible.&#xA;&#xA;If I look at the four marks of the Church in the Nicene Creed - One, Holy, Catholic (universal), Apostolic - it points me in one direction. &#xA;&#xA;Protestantism has fractured constantly into more and more denominations, so no ‘one’ there.&#xA;&#xA;Lets assume all are Holy enough to give everyone that mark.&#xA;&#xA;I believe the Orthodox along with Catholics have valid Apostolic succession.&#xA;&#xA;Universal - this is where I see even Orthodoxy as deficient, as most are national/ethnic churches.&#xA;&#xA;History tends towards Catholicism and Orthodoxy. &#xA;&#xA;Lastly, the Eucharist. Our belief in the Sacrifice of The Mass, and Christ’s Real Presence is what we define as worship.&#xA;We do not worship Mary, the Saints, or the Angels. We pray for their intercession. &#xA;I think much of the strife between Protestants and Catholic/Orthodox stems from the word ‘worship’ having different meaning between those two groupings. &#xA;</html></oembed>
