Cycling event, roads blocked, Old Port sealed off, and cops everywhere doing their best Napoleon impression. One of them decided to yell at me today. Big mistake. The Balkan blood kicked in and I delivered a curse package so complete it covered every woman in his family tree, including branches he didn't know existed. He stopped yelling. Funny how that works.\n\nEvery time I watch them hand out tickets to people just trying to get home, Animal Farm plays in my head. All animals are equal, but some get paid overtime to stand in the middle of a closed street pointing at another closed street.\n\nI don't hate cops as a species.
