One day I lost my job and started driving for Uber.\n\nBut one of those trips changed everything. Four foreigners got in, and we heard news\nabout protests against #Bitcoin adoption.\n\nOne of the passengers was \nJohn Dennehy, founder of \nnostr:npub17cyatz6z2dzcw6xehtcm9z45m76lde5smxdmyasvs00r4pqv863qrs4ml3  , and he\nasked me if I could give him an interview.\n\nThat’s how I became the first student of \nnostr:npub17cyatz6z2dzcw6xehtcm9z45m76lde5smxdmyasvs00r4pqv863qrs4ml3 and received classes\ndirectly from John\nI quickly understood everything about #Bitcoin . This was just the beginning.\n\nThen, I had an idea: I wanted to offer my taxi service and accept #Bitcoin.\nIt felt like magic once I began doing it!\nmy first announcement for AdoptingBTC2021 \n\nThat’s how I became the first driver in #ElSalvador to accept #Bitcoin \u0026 named my company ‘Bitdriver’ \nFrom working in the traditional financial system to being able to provide transportation\nservices for the huge amount of people visiting #ElSalvador\n\nWorking on education at \nnostr:npub17cyatz6z2dzcw6xehtcm9z45m76lde5smxdmyasvs00r4pqv863qrs4ml3  has changed my life.\nAnd just as I change, I want the lives of my people, of my country to change, and that\ncan only be achieved with education and patience.\n\nWe knew we had to #startsmall before we expanded, but now we’re ready to go to\nthe next level.\n\nWe’ve received donations and support from \nJack , Greg Foss, Bitcoin Beach, Blink Wallet , Bitfinex , Looking Glass and PayStand\n\nAnd we are just getting started.\n\nOnward!"}
