The antitrust was about unfair competitioncpractices, which could be argued has some economic benefits but also no reason that market changes couldn't have put pressure on it either.\nI am not saying there is no role for government. But you're naive to believe that a political process of good and service production will be more efficient or less corrupt. \nYou've also ignored all the good markets create. You can only care about the environment or labor wages cause you're rich enough. Starving farmers living under Mao and stalin do not have that luxury.\nAnd yes it’s real socialism, every planned economy hits the same information and humans not scaling problem.\n\nI never once said anything about the direction of price movements with any of my examples. My examples highlighted that companies can manipulate markets and thus manipulate/set pricing. It does not take profits to innovate or have technological advances that reduces unit costs. Think how much cheaper it would have been for kerosene if you cut out the profit…wouldn’t that be better?\n\nNo sir, the naivety lies with your approach that there is “no better way”. You are correct, it is a constant battle to keep corruption and greed of a few from ruining it for everyone. I trust decentralization which is exactly what worker cooperatives are and capitalism’s “owning” class is the exact opposite. Just like the example of Standard Oil, before they were stopped they exploited their way into 90% of the market share. Is owning 90% of market share decentralized or centralized control?\n\nNever once did I denounce markets or what trade and commerce bring to the table. I have however continued to provide historical evidence that there is a better way than capitalism and that capitalism has proven itself insatiable as well as unsustainable.\n\nCan you provide any data that suggest socialism has hit a “humans not scaling problem”?"}
