Maybe running out of ways to pass time will force a confrontation of those feelings and thoughts head on... for better or worse.

The Pico-8 thing from the recent update is really fun, and I've been loving having all the desktop options now, without having to worry about the issues of my phone. Plus writing with a keyboard is much nicer.
I do have some #amethyst improvement suggestions:
General ideas:
- Concord channels should transparently show the relays the channel uses to regular users. Currently, only admins/mods of the channels can see it. This is useful for people diagnosing issues or alerting channel owners to dead relays.
- Some indicator in the relays settings as to how important Indexer relays are. Unless I'm doing it wrong, I've found that issues of "notes and profiles not loading", usually from people with only a small number of relays, some of which are invite-only/personal, get easily fixed if I add at least 1 of the person's outbox relays to my indexers. Even if they're private relays these still seem to kick it in the butt to pull their content properly.
- Unless I could not find it, there's no option to customize what external url handler the "Share" link function uses, it just has njump. This is somewhat annoying when sending nostr content to people outside of nostr, as njump is pretty barebones, lacking replies and requiring an extra step to share links to whole threads. Exposing this as an option to the user would be fantastic. @nprofile…qmcn 's NostrConnect firefox addon has a great format for this:
```
{raw} = anything after the colon, i.e. the full nip19 bech32 string
{hex} = hex pubkey for npub or nprofile, hex event id for note or nevent
{p_or_e} = "p" for npub or nprofile, "e" for note or nevent
{u_or_n} = "u" for npub or nprofile, "n" for note or nevent
{relay0} = first relay in a nprofile or nevent
{relay1} = second relay in a nprofile or nevent
{relay2} = third relay in a nprofile or nevent
{hrp} = human-readable prefix of the nip19 string
examples:
- https://njump.me/{raw}
- https://snort.social/{raw}
- https://nostr.band/{raw}
```
Desktop ideas (Debian Linux .deb version is what I use):
- Right-click -> copy link for anything clickable please, not just notes and profiles.
- Right-click -> copy image/copy image link/save image for images specifically as well please, makes sharing and saving easier.
- Adjustable pressure curve option for the brush in the drawing feature. For my tablet (an old wacom intuos, using the standard driver), the pressure currently does not work in desktop Amethyst. I don't have a pressure-capable android device to see if it works there.

🏈Seattle’s defense is riding high after holding Kansas City to three points, but Chicago brings a major challenge: the NFL’s top rushing offense. The Bears visit the Seahawks on MNF, with quarterback Caleb Williams coming off back-to-back 300-yard passing games. #NFL
100%. 100000%.
I've been trying to tell people some form of this.
It's not an exact analogy but like... Imagine this being when germ theory was proven, and seeing medical workers complaining about having to wash hands and use chemicals and machines to sterilize their tools and areas.
Maybe a better comparison would be when we figured out how bad asbestos or lead paint is, and everything had to get it removed due to it being a health hazard.
Software is only going to be more secure moving forwards. In fact this might even lead to those nasty obscure intentional backdoors being closed, because security through obscurity is no longer gonna cut it.

I'm on nostr but I'm not a tecchie-dev.
I don't know that much about hosting models other than it can be done. I don't trust myself to unleash one on my family computer.
I have just been using grok for most benign research and maple free for more personal things.
Using enough now between myself and kids homework that I need to start paying for usage and I'm not sure what route to go.
