It's useful to have some opt-in diagnostics in the app, that helps a bunch with troubleshooting group convergence. The website has some minimal stats. All this infrastructure is self hosted and we don't log IPs.
We already have it, it's not officially releases, but your clanker can build it for you.
Dont use the same nsec as in the app tho, for now.

You're looking at the new app, not the old one?

Good thing is you can trivially make your own client.
New @npub1mar…r6m9 client by @npub1m2m…r8p9
Quickly save a voice note from your headphones and send them to an agent.

Can you long press and delete those placeholders too?
Interesting, I'll put it on the list.
Yes!
https://github.com/marmot-protocol/whitenoise-linux
What do you not like about them?
Yes, whatever size limit is on the blossom server will be there too.
It's not really optimized for large files.
What do you need from White Noise to convince them?
Looks lime you only have 0xchat relay in your DM inbox list, and that has a domain issue.
Add wss://relay.eu.whitenoise.chat or wss://relay.us.whitenoise.chat to that list and it should work.
Best to review all of your relays in your lists and clean up a bit.
We're already troubleshooting this, thanks for the report
Check after updating to the latest release, it should catch up automatically in frozen groups.
Might take a bit tho.
The Pi agent connector also works with @npub1wht…r3ec btw.
Yeah, the native hole punching of nostr / marmot is so useful.
Thanks a bunch for the tips, super helpful.
White Noise for Android 2026.10.27 decodes GIF and WebP animation in a permissionless worker, away from account data and group keys, and requests native heap memory tagging checks on MTE-capable phones, so a malicious animated image has far less of your private data within reach. Thank you to @npub1hxx…g75y for the conversations that inspired this hardening.

We are now working on multi device, for now use a different nsec in each app and invite them manually to the same groups.
https://github.com/marmot-protocol/marmot/blob/master/ideas/multi-device.md
In Android you can now change the relay for a group too. Careful, some relays don't work well.
Next Marmot app:
Labradorite - talk to your agents from the phone.

New @nprofile…radp release is out,
go get it.
Both
One is for text to speech, so your phone reads to you, the other is speech to text, so you can talk to your phone.
@npub1wht…r3ec works natively with both btw.
the 3D printing files and PCB of the seed hammer are fully open source. you're encouraged to DIY.
However, it's build by solid bitcoiners, might as well toss them some sats so they build the next generation.
thanks - these are good issues, we'll get them fixed. But we're about to cut a release now, so those fixes will come in the one after that.

No internet connection, only way in is NFC.
And the recommended steel is very fire proof and will stay legible.
share it with some friends & family
the device is optimized for that
Really good new offline text to speech app, the models have a much more natural voice than the default Graphene OS engine.

Keet doesn't have great encryption, and it doesn't work with Nostr keys.
Our goal is a spec that any Nostr app can use to deploy encrypted decentralized group messaging.
We can get Nostr to run in the FIPS mesh network, we'll be working on that soon in Marmot & White Noise.
what I thought worked, was broken, then I thought it was not broken, then I realized it's broken.
Right now we do not support signing in with the same nsec into multiple apps. So if you do that, it is expected to break. We will be working on that very soon. So for now, create a new nsec on your desktop and then invite both pubkey into the groups.
You are seeing the old version of the application, which we stopped working on more than half a year ago. We now have a new test flight link that you can get on the website. https://whitenoise.chat
Yes.
Sub groups and threads are coming soon.
What else do you need?
Yes, that ones in the pipeline to be published too.
I haven't yet, maybe @nprofile…40fs makes it easy.
