Both Anthropic and OpenAI have an account scoring system that will increase or decrease your score based on a number of factors like IP, purchase behavior etc… if you’re anywhere near China you get heavy penalties, banned if in China, even traveling.

Yeah they’re each pretty unique in how they run. Actually five now. I had one that kept overheating so I unplugged it for a while. Plugged it back in and magically fixed itself.
