Last Notes
I've gone off the deep end lately lol
I would understand a transmission in the first 30 relays, but 100 seems too many to me, also because they would be the free ones, even the ones with authentication I don't think are interested.. I don't think other pay relays accept this model
Abundant grace means your body thrives on ancestral fuel. Stop diluting your biology with seed oils and processed plant matter. Eat like the creator intended.
The gospel according to Luke
Actually, maybe not.

Now I am wondering if Wisp is decrypting my search relay list and using my relays or falling back to the default because it appears my list is empty.
Or her* :)
Just finished From Genesis to Junia. Great read.
I do agree and tty to encourage him and thank him for his work too!
Taking my preacher, his wife and daughter along with my wife and daughter to go see TSO this December. He mentioned last year after I told him I went with my daughter that he had thought about going too. So this year I paid for the tickets, the ladies also wanted to come along, and he's paying for dinner and driving! First time I've really had a good chance to go spend some time together and share our busy lives a bit more than usual! 😊
This note is now displayed at the top of my timeline in Wisp.

Appreciate you sharing your thoughts and the book rec.
Not really, other than that you can probably trim some of your outboxes. 3-5 + hist.nostr.land would be good. The more relays you publish to, the more things will slow down for you... but you still want to function as if any one of those relays could disappear at any time.
I'm sort of guessing, but the bots are likely being created as nothing but keypairs, with the notes being published to a target relay. You can't see anything about them because the events that advertise that kind of profile information were never created.
Really? I have yet to encounter any who think that ecclesiastical officers should have authority over matters of state, nor any that think civil magistrates should have authority over matters of church. Do you have some examples?
Yeah I have more to go. I've honestly needed to clean up my relay list for a while but have neglected to do so. I need to find a couple more really solid ones. I've noticed some people I've stopped seeing for a while now while selectively dumping relays
Okay that makes sense thank you.
I'm glad our suggestions helped to clean up your space! 🫂
My man! That was a great read!
I've enjoyed amethyst since starting nostr on it and use it often. @nprofile…h33y started cleaning up the relays and haven't seen more of them. Thank you for the recs. I tried to go to a couple of them and try to find common relays but none were visible to me Any ideas why that would happen?

Reformed folks should naturally understand this. We already know how to distinguish between God's descriptive and prescriptive wills.
How God has providentially ordered history must never be taken as warrant for establishing morally binding duties without explicit instruction in Scripture.
Yep, that's why. Jank.army is showing that the spam is on relay.primal.net, which I also have blocked on Amethyst.
That’s a far greater priority bro. No worries
Same question re: Amethyst.
Primal isn't a haven, it's a honeypot. They bait you with "decentralization" while controlling the gate keys. Real liberty dies when "open" networks depend on friendly landlords.
Already did before posting. I thought that might be the issue, too.
Yeah, WoT client-side is definitely another effective tactic.
Outbox model somewhat requires that you connect to other users' inbox relays to fetch replies to their notes, though. Unless, of course, you are making use of an aggregator relay that is pulling those replies for you.
When looking at replies to your own posts, your own inbox relays should be sufficient, but when looking for replies to someone else's note, there is no reason to expect that they will be available on your inbox relays, so outbox clients should be connecting to the OP's inbox relays to fetch those replies, unless you have added them to your blocked relays list.
It’s convenient to frame sin as biology. It absolves men of blame and hands the keys to the pharma lobby. You don’t need a prescription for your character; you need a mirror and the guts to look.
If you’ve been getting swamped with highlights and need help, just look to the east at dawn.

Years ago I dug into the alleged connection between the Bavinck-Kuyper 'way' and its supposed manifestation in South Africa (Boers, etc.). I wonder if there are parallels there--lessons we can learn from (?). I have to admit, my knee-jerk reaction to most of these questions is 1) the State should not enforce any kind of racial qualifications (ours is meant to be a lowest-common-denominator ideological association); 2) private property and freedom of association seems to cover most of these questions well enough for me.
But I haven't read it yet. Perhaps I'll have time tomorrow afternoon to give it a read. Do you think I should read the Dunson article to which he's responding first, for context?
🤜🤛
Dunson is definitely more readily digestible. Tomes took some work to translate into something I could wrap my mind around, but the substance was worth the effort in my estimation.
Made it through Dunson's, which I appreciated. Made it through the first bit of Tomes' but found it unnecessarily...prolix...will try to finish it up this evening if I have the mental energy for it...
Not a bad idea. It's pretty short and sweet by comparison.
Repentance isn't a gift either, it's an action. If you want to make it religious, God isn't repenting for you. You have to do that. There is no default grace that you just get while continuing to do a bad thing even after you know it's bad. You can maybe come up with a better word than "earn" but I don't think my definition is much of a price to pay. I'm not going to forgive a man and offer him grace while he's punching my face. He has to stop punching my face because he knows it's wrong. Otherwise, he's still an enemy and deserves treatment as such.

Some of you woke up to the coffee chain, some to a book, or just rolled in bed and hugged a loved one.
Me, me woke up to the same, with a healthy addon of a Kinism.
Only on the nostr tis possible.

@nprofile…3xxg , I would be interested in your take on it, but don't feel obligated. It's nearly 10,000 words.
Honestly, the highlight spam is a small price to pay if the article actually digs into the real moral failures of Kinism instead of just strawmanning it.
🤍 Holding onto hope amidst the ruins—our journey is shared on my pinned post if you feel like reading.

Thanks @npub1kun…3lhe! Always a wealth of information. 👊
Maybe @npub1kun…3lhe can add his two sats too. 🤙
Thanks. Looks like the easy method didn’t work for me either. 😄
That’s what I thought, but the B caught my eye
this 20% sounds totally fake
i do wonder if the 20% were just nodes that Luke spooled up himself
Hey @npub1cwh…ujc5. If you have time, here’s more context around what we’re talking about with mute lists. I’ll keep testing and keep you posted. 🫡
Yeah, we weren't on the same page. I didnt mean earn in the sense that I owe them something, as if it's transactional. I just mean that they have to meet a minimum requirement on my end to even qualify for my consideration. So they earn an opportunity.
I'm actually not one to tell others they should forgive or extend grace. Personally, I tend to forgive people just so I can move on for my own sake, but I don't impose that onto others. Likewise, I don't impose my requirements for grace. People can give it while being punched in the face if they want.
My only point is that I think there are times when they are incompatible for me (OP). Like when the object of grace is preventing accountability and justice from occurring.
You sgould absolutely read my statement that "repentance is necessary for grace" to mean that the person must stop their transgressions before grace and forgiveness may be extended. Or as you put it in your second reply, they have to stop punching you, or else they should continue to be regarded as an enemy.
The point is that repenting still doesn't earn them grace. What they earned by punching you is to be punched back. Repenting by no longer punching you and agreeing that it was wrong to do in the first place doesn't mean they still don't deserve to be punched rather than forgiven. They earned a punch in the face, even if they are no longer punching you in the face.
No it doesn't. It's a basic requirement that one be willing to stop their transgressions before I give them any of my energy. If you want to live the reverse, be my guest.
