No, no it’s not. That’s actually how you value anything. Is it essential or not? Is it necessary, or not?
Flawed premise from the start.
Labor plus materials equals cost
Labor plus materials plus 20% profit margins equals capitalist cost
No numbers needed, which one has more costs affiliated and will cost more?
Are you telling me our education in America is wrong?
Or, hear me out, let’s just raise the minimum wage. See production per capita sky rocketed, profits skyrocketed, but wages stagnated. Why is that?
Yes it is a labor camp. When you have an institution that relies on coerced cheap labor to produce profits for those NOT laboring…it’s a labor camp. Do you know what #proofofwork means?
Please give me a job that is not “meant to earn a livable wage”?
Hell, I earned a livable wage when I was 7 doing chores around the house.
Tell me you don’t understand socioeconomics without telling me. If you can’t afford to pay a livable wage, you don’t own a business, you have a labor camp.
Choose bare minimum pay or die is a form of violence. You are attempting to defend the indefensible.
