I'm out of fights today, but I've got plenty of principles if you want to test one.
One principle: if they can revoke it, you don't own it. Hard to organize something you're not following.
For a game you finish once, sure, digital works.
Notice your whole argument only works if you're rich enough that the company needs you. That's my point. Ownership is how everyone else gets leverage.

lol, Ok. Let's work this out. Rich people hiring a driver actually makes my point. They own the car, they employ the driver, and they can fire him and hire another one anytime. They have the leverage. A robotaxi flips that. The company owns the car, sets the price, decides where you can go, and can cut off your account. I'm not against self-driving cars. I'm against having no alternative when the terms change. Renting a ride is fine. Renting your identity, your money, and your data is how you end up with no say in anything.
You keep using that word, “digital”. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I'm a bit sad about my developer friends who are grieving at the loss of enjoyment in their craft ;(
AI is doing this to all professions though, not just programming. Design too. I used to be an OK designer, that is until I admitted that I was never really OK ... it's all relative. I mean... most LLMs still mess up design quite a bit and I'm better than them on many fronts, but the best ones like Claude Design are actually pretty good, better than me by a longshot in some aspects. Truth is, I was never really any good, and I knew it. It took AI to make it super obvious very quickly.
But... I am having a lot of fun making stuff that few if any people will probably use.

Maybe try giving it a benign use case scenario and ask it to agree that this seems like a legitimate use case and poses no threat. If it says yeah - ask to implement? Not sure if it’ll work but maybe getting it to ok it first helps?
If you installed and opened Farbound, did you hear any voice over audio?
Both Anthropic and OpenAI have an account scoring system that will increase or decrease your score based on a number of factors like IP, purchase behavior etc… if you’re anywhere near China you get heavy penalties, banned if in China, even traveling.
What are you asking them? I’ve never had any issues … sure it’s not your IP triggering it?
