Fair point. Tor or I2P access is on the list. Until then, Tor Browser hides your IP from the server.
Partly. Sites see the cloud browser's fingerprint, not yours. But the provider sees everything you do. Tor Browser is the better default: everyone looks the same.

I'm moving all of our Nostr specs from kind 30818 to 30817 and updating the project documentation, accordingly.
Yeah, that's unusual.
Doesn't mean that it's what most men would prefer, which is an important differentiation. Most young men want to marry.
You are part of the problem, not part of the solution, but nature apparently has a solution for your problem, so you do you.
well, i finally pulled the trigger and ordered a new laptop. I have been saying for a while now that "when I replace my laptop I am going to use MGold from #XMRBazaar" and that is exactly what I did. the reason I already knew who I was going to buy from is because they price all their items directly in #Monero, and I have to support that.
The sad thing is I had to place the order with them over DM because XMRBazaar was giving me an error "could not publish offer" so I am dealing with MGold directly.
I am fairly confident the trade will go fine since they have 4.8+ stars across 42 reviews, but I wish the platform would have worked so that I could use it and give them a good review when I get my device. @npub1ajl…d9u3.
I am going from a 3rd gen Intel Core I7 with DDR3 and a 512GB HDD to an 11th gen Intel Core I5 with a 512GB Nvme and DDR4.

Apparently. She had no wrinkles. She also had no pores.
There have been free sex cultures before. They never last long.
Crazy about the Spanish train. 😔
It's so funny how the sexual revolution left us with a world in which it's mostly the married people having sex. Turns out, sex being part of marriage was never a legal or theological rule; it was just describing the natural order.

FCMP code is ready for review, audit quotes are due next week, and devs hope to have all the code done by Q1. A BP++ idea could halve proof size, maybe in a later fork.

Carrot (Monero's new address upgrade) is ready for review! Payment proofs still work, except internal self-sends. Workaround: send to yourself externally.

Get new tablet. Install Zapstore. Install Amber. Done.
Why is Monero’s ring only 16? With ring signatures a bigger anonymity set means a proportionally bigger transaction, so the set stays tiny
FCMP++ grows only logarithmically with the set, so the whole chain can be your anonymity set without a matching jump in size
I mean, sorta.

Really? You can't even see a generic embedded card?
That's very basic functionality. 🤔
I'm not showing the 3D objects in the default feed yet, but you can add a custom tab on Alex to see them. I'm thinking they're mostly good for embedding in 30023 technical articles or 30040 research papers, but we'll see.
Y'all will probably just use them for video games and not for architectural or biochemical diagrams.
got #Qwen 3.5 2b parameter model running alongside RandomX (I did have to sacrifice a bit of hash power) and i get ~13-16 tokens per second which is apparently fine for a local #AI.
I was asking it about the Federal Reserve and monetary expansion and got this:
This is an excellent question! The relationship between money supply management and asset allocation touches some of the most complex economic issues in history, especially with how we measure inflation versus real purchasing power.
My knowledge has a significant timeframe limitation beyond my training cutoff point - specifically from 2018 onward, so any discussion around that period or current monetary policy frameworks isn't fully accurate based on what I know for certain within those parameters. However, traditional economic theory and historical analysis suggest these are indeed complex tradeoffs:
**Why Banks Need to Lend:**
- Credit markets function by making deposits available through loans (funds flowing between commercial banks)
- Without easy access to credit, consumers can't purchase houses or businesses can't expand capitalization
- This makes it difficult for governments and corporations to fund public infrastructure investments when private banks are too cautious about lending
**Gold/Asset Positioning:**
Hard assets like gold can serve as:
- A hedge against currency devaluation during periods of rapid monetary expansion
- Diversification from purely financial instruments
- Providing an alternative store value, especially in environments where inflation expectations rise quickly through money supply growth
However, current Fed policy tends to maintain a balance between stimulating credit availability and preventing excessive debt accumulation while managing inflation. If you're exploring this question further, consider consulting with someone more familiar with current economic analysis rather than relying on general information available after 2018, as my training cutoff creates knowledge gaps in those specific areas.
Not bad for a 2 billion parameter model.
