Seems quiet a silly statement to me.
I think a person like you should know, that politics is multidimensional. Left and right is only one of those dimensions. And even when it is the most mentioned one. It is still a simplification of politics, which has vot much practicle use.
Tyranny is not left or right in specific. But both extrames proofed to be capable of it. As we see in todays China and Korea, democracy is not part of the extreme left.
And as we see in Bolsonaros Brazil or in Trumps USA, the extreme right is also not eager to defend democracy.
But democracy is rather the effort to listen to peoples needs and difficulties, no matter whom they are voting for. To include the full political spectrum in the governments decisionmaking. To respect the rights of the most vulnerable and look at every human being as a sovereign individual with inalianable rights. When humans do not need to be useful for a state but when only the state respect individuals independence.
And when we look at political left and right, so I would say, that the center is most capable to listen and speak like a rational human political force.

I feel you. I started a second business, almost a year ago. I'm putting a lot of work in it, but I don't feel it's growing fast enough. I keep asking myself if I'm wasting my time because people don't care, or if it's just a little too early for success yet.
All you can do is reflect on whether you fundamentally believe you're creating real value or not. If you believe you are, then you have to keep pushing forward.
