Strive, empresa cotizada que acumula bitcoin en su balance, compró 6.182 bitcoins por 511,4 millones de dólares entre el 17 y el 23 de octubre, a 82.732 dólares de media por BTC. Sus reservas suben a 43.000 BTC, según el formulario que presentó ante la SEC, el regulador bursátil de EE. UU., el 26 de octubre.
Ese mismo 26 de octubre Strive abrió un programa de venta de acciones preferentes SATS por hasta 1.000 millones de dólares, según su folleto ante la SEC. Los fondos pueden ir a comprar bitcoin y a otros fines generales. Las SATS pagan un dividendo anual del 15 %. Según Bitbo, Strive es cuarta entre las empresas cotizadas, tras Metaplanet (44.000 BTC) y Twenty One (43.514 BTC), y su consejero delegado aspira a ser segundo a final de año.
Para entenderlo: en un programa así, la empresa vende acciones poco a poco en el mercado, según haya demanda.
Por qué importa
Strive dispone ya de una vía de financiación continua para seguir comprando bitcoin, con las preferentes como instrumento. Su objetivo declarado es ser la segunda tesorería cotizada.

Strategy no compró bitcoin entre el 19 y el 25 de octubre y gastó 204,9 millones de dólares en recomprar 2,07 millones de sus acciones preferentes STRC, según comunicó el 26 de octubre. Para entenderlo: las acciones preferentes cobran un dividendo fijo antes que las ordinarias y normalmente no votan. Recomprarlas reduce lo que la empresa debe pagar en dividendos.
Por qué importa
La mayor empresa de tesorería de bitcoin dedicó la semana a reducir sus preferentes y no a acumular más bitcoin. Su demanda de compra ya no es constante: depende de cómo reparta su dinero cada semana.

¿Qué decide un nodo antes de retransmitir una transacción válida: si cumple consenso o si encaja en su política local?
En Bitcoin Core, la política de mempool incluye controles de standardness: versión admitida, tamaño, formato de scriptSig, tipos de salida permitidos y límites de dust, entre otros.
Son criterios de admisión y retransmisión, no reglas de consenso. Una transacción no estándar puede satisfacer todas las reglas de consenso y aun así ser rechazada por la mempool de un nodo.
El conjunto exacto depende de la versión y configuración del nodo, y de políticas de relay aplicadas en el camino. Por eso, que un nodo no la retransmita no demuestra que sea inválida ni impide que llegue a un minero por otra vía.
Un minero puede incluirla si es válida por consenso; los nodos, al validar el bloque, no exigen que cada transacción siga la política de sus mempools.
La standardness facilita una retransmisión común, pero no amplía el consenso.

Als Realisten sind wir bestimmt beide der Meinung ‘Mittel’ meint Güter und Dienstleistungen, Gold arbeitet nicht und Geld tut es auch nicht. Egal was andere erzählen, das ist nicht wahr. Menschen arbeiten.
Das wäre dann die ‘Ausstattung’ des zweiten Bedeutungsblockes.
Was der Staat nicht braucht sind Finanzmittel, diese macht er ja selber. Er braucht auch keine Steuern sich zu finanzieren. Er sollte vielleicht noch darauf achten das das Verhältnis von Gütern und Dienstleistungen und ausgegebener Geldmenge ungefähr gleich bleibt damit der Preis ungefähr gleich bleibt. Aber das ist ja schon eine politische Entscheidung. Denn, schaffe ich mit dem Ausgegebenen Geld Produkte und Dienstleistungen im selben Verhältnis wie das Ausgegebene Geld, bleibt auch der Preis stabil.
In der MMT kommt eine neue Bedeutung in die Steuer, sie erzeugt die Nachfrage nach dem Zahlungsmittel, das habe ich in dem Clip raus gelassen, aber auch im Buch gehe ich nicht stark auf MMT ein, ich setzte sie voraus.
Warum also ein Zahlungsmittel einen Wert hat liegt an dem Zwang des Staates seine Steuern in eben diesem Zahlungsmittel zu entrichten. Damit muss jeder, der diesem Steuerzwang unterliegt, sich strecken und dieses Zahlungsmittel besorgen.
Dieser Zwang ist das rationalste Argument warum ein Zahlungsmittel Wertvoll sein soll. Das Gold, Silber oder Bitcoin wertvoll sein sollen, lässt sich nur durch die Irrationalität der Markteilnehmer (diese 'glauben' es sei wertvoll) rational erklären. Das ist doch keine schöne Begründung. Am Ende ist sie vor allem nicht rational.
Da sieht man auch schön warum die Ausgabe des Geldes am Anfang stehen muss, niemand hat das Zahlungsmittel wenn der Staat es nicht herausgegeben hat. Die Schulden des Staates sind die Guthaben der Menschen und Betriebe. Einfache Buchführung. Den empirischen Beweis dafür haben die Cryptocurrencies geführt, hier gibt das Protokoll die Währung aus, als erstes, ‘fair‘ d.h. mit jedem Block oder premined, alle, Bitcoin wie Shitcoins.
Und so ist die MMT die rationalste Geldtheorie die ich bisher kennengelernt habe.
Steuern sind demnach also Lenkung und Nachtfrageerzeugung für Zahlungsmittel.

Ich bin ja unbekannter Autor (eigentlich nicht mal Autor, mein Geld verdiene ich mit Softwareentwicklung) und niemand ließt das Buch, meinen Freunden kann ich nicht zu viel abverlangen, daher mal die Frage an dich, konntest du damit etwas anfangen?
