Nostr is basically a CB radio with memory & GIFs
Are there any other outspoken revolutionaries on this platform? Announce yourself.
Or is the configuration of "revolutionary mindset" on here contained within the framework of building an alternative communications platform that fits neatly inside the container of capital accumulation? One that has zero chance of upsetting the status quo or tipping the scales of power imbalance?
Is anyone on here willing to do something those powers might deem "destructive?" To configure Nostr in a way that makes it easy for working-class citizens to communicate and organize anonymously? One that encourages discreet planning of upheaval that the State media would label as "terrorist plots?"
Is this a viable method to grasp and tool the shaping of a fresh golden age- in fact, *the* golden age that the plot of all history has been building towards?
My introduction to Nostr was a presentation given by a very enthusiastic young fellow who seemed set on using Nostr to disempower big tech and help us to organize around the idea that we can make our own rules. We don't need to be subjected to the whims of non-elected big tech elites to seize the technology already available and deploy it for our own purposes.
The tools are here, it seems. The intention, however, remains to be seen. Nothing is intellectual property here, no one can trace you, it offers inspirational and educational discourse without needing an email address, and is largely composed of human beings rather than bots farming engagement for money.
This place rules.
Can it remain? How will it evolve? Are the devs just going to cash out when the platform becomes worth millions?
Is it really just the hub of X banned incels?
Where are my people? The outspoken. The misfits. The dreamers. The unashamed. The wretched of the Earth.
Announce yourselves.
Right Here Good buddie with the pedal to the metal, keeping the Greasy side down and the Shiney Side up, nose between the Ditches and the Bears out of my Britches, we be 10-10 and on the side.🤠
Funny my daughter sort of said this same thing.
The ego cannot exist purely in the present moment. It's just a story we're telling ourselves, and a story has to have a past and future. "Time never was when man

A home should be somewhere you feel completely safe, loved, assured, whole and healed. That will never be a physical structure. You build your home inside your body every day with your thoughts, actions and attention. Every act done with loving consciousness is a brick in the wall of God’s temple. Every act done in fear, worry or anxiety is reinforcing the devil’s den. It’s your choice to live in heaven or hell. “God never made a heaven for man; he never made a hell; we are creators and we make our own” - The Aquarian Gospel

Funny how pain does that...
My brother, your comments are gold, both of them, and you have certainly given me something to ponder.
I tried to zap you but it said you didn't have it?
Every system or "machine" as you call it, is a mode of production. Before capitalism there was fuedalism. And before that there were autocracies, and so on.
It is the current mode of production that contains how we think; about resources, about our roles in community, about value and debt. It generates laws to legitimize itself and its beneficiaries manufacture a moral code to glorify it.
Those laws & codes control market dynamics and create material conditions rife for super-exploitation.
The current mode of production, and previous modes, are the very reason why there is a defacto accumulation of power inherent in every modern historical context. Because it relies on exploitation and preys on human nature.
Targeting and criticizing the mode of production and its contradictions is the same as targeting the accumulation of power by boardroom, party, or State.
These things are just more containers for our thoughts that the current mode of production has constructed for us.
But what if there was a mode of production that benefited the majority instead of a ghoulish minority? What if the insane technology and resources we have were distributed in a way that mounted a fresh golden age? In fact, *the* golden age - the one towards which all of history has been building.
It is not so impossible to imagine. Humans have been egalitarian for most all of our 400,000 years of upright walk on this planet. No money. No gender roles. Just everyone in the tribe or village doing things to benefit the tribe or village, not their personal self-interests.
But re-achieving this in the modern era cannot be done through anarchy. Revolutionary forces need to establish their own, novel forms of the State. Just as old States of yesteryear were built to serve the interests of Kings and their bourgeois, the revolutionary State would be established to enforce the will of the working-class and defend it against counter-revolutionary forces.
We cannot simply lay hold of the ready-made machinery capitalism has provided and wield it for its own purposes.
To combat the State of the owner-class with precision and efficiency, the proletariat needs to immediate organize into it's own State apparatus - not dissolve into Anarchy.
As long as the State is allowed to exist in its current incarnation, and the world system is configured to accumulate wealth in the imperial core, the working class will need its own version of state to implement its policy and enforce the will of their interests.
Having to be able to meet this Truth on our feet is not a *way* to become great again.
It is the only way.

Hi Nostr friends and family.
I was signed off for a stitch to focus on real-world challenges.
I miss you tho. More walls of text and intriguing conversations inbound!

My friend,
It is not difficult to meet basic subsistence requirements and historical data suggests that human communities are normally capable of doing so. Even before the industrial revolution, isolated communities could sustain themselves with their own labor and natural resources. The main exceptions to this are natural disasters or appropriation by a ruling class or imperialist colonizer. The historical data shows that the process of colonization and capitalist integration is the primary driver that pushed rural communities into extreme poverty and caused social indicators to decline.
Today, the wealth gap is orders of magnitude greater than it was pre- French Revolution. Capitalism is the enforcer of this network of poverty and wealth inequality. Nothing has risen to meet it. It keeps making excuses for itself.
"We already live in a post capitalist world" is at best, a naive observation of the world system in the context of all its historical framework. Or, at worst, a deliberate attempt to muddy the waters of Truth such that it detracts from revolutionary action properly engaging with solutions with clarity and efficiency.
When you grow up in the imperial core; Europe/America, its logics, norms, and values are internalized. It can become difficult to imagine that things can be organized differently.
Three wishes from a genie (no wishing for more wishes, hehe) and most people would follow Alladin's choices and wish for riches and status and Title. A wish that still leaves many others poor and starving. They do not think to wish for an entirely different mode of production: one that overcomes exploitation and alienation and liberates the weak and poor.
The cool thing is, we don't need fairytale magic to actualize this wish.
We only need tell the Truth uncompromisingly and to face it with unshakable courage.
One such Truth is that under capitalism, over production of food and medicine exist side-by-side with starvation and chronic illness.
That is because capitalism is not just America and Europe. It is also Bolivia and Kenya, Columbia and Panama, Palestine and Nepal. The online shopping malls may look overwhelming, but that does not mean this system satisfies the needs of the population. Abundance in the markets is not a sign that wealth and resources have been distributed effectively.
The systemic violent oppression of the Third World throughout the 20th century were necessary for capital accumulation. Violence and oppression, in the form of the super-exploitation of labor, namely in the global south, is the very mechanism that allows for the cheapening of goods to make such abundance available. They extract value from the periphery countries and accumulate it into the imperial core.
A dock worker's labor in South Africa does not produce100x less value than that same dock worker in San Francisco. But in order to make things appear affordable, appear abundant, appear in-order, this false "truth" must be enforced.
However, it is important to be reminded that capitalism, like all other historical modes of production, had a beginning, and must have an end. A better world is on the horizon.
The problem is that the capitalists will divest. They will salvage as much as can be salvaged from this broken economy while purposely dilapidating the rest. Just like the housing crash, the energy crisis, and the AI bubble.
The capitalists privatized the profits but when this thing implodes, they will socialize the losses. Just like they did in 2008. No one was ever held accountable for that, BTW.
Within this unsustainable mode of production, it is not possible to raise the living standard of the global population to that of those living in the imperial core.
A revolution is the only way forward. One that will radically change how we produce, consume, and organize. No longer based on privatized wins and socialized losses. A mode of production rooted in collectivization.
The transformation towards this end can be smooth as the global south de-links from imperialism and creates alternative international orders.
Or... this transformation will be horrific and traumatic resulting in world wars and the deployment of super weapons. If such a transition is not "the end" for us all, we will likely start from scratch. We must avoid this outcome: we must avoid revolutionary adventuring in our strategy.
If capitalism is still the dominant model in the later half of this century, then catastrophic social and economic collapse are easy to forsee.
It is in this unstable and dramatic circumstance that the end-game of capitalism will likely be realized.
The strategy for our struggle, the ways in which we can rigidify ourselves, our community, our infrastructure, and our life support systems are what we aim to discuss on this page.
Capitalism will not survive the turn of the century.
It's up to us to make the transition as smooth as humanly possible.
A better world yearns to be born. All we have to lose are our chains.
No genie magic needed.
https://blossom.primal.net/2ff5c574ce4abaa3fdfed3dd48a13f231494ee365a0f2e8f17d08e882a1d560a.jpg
I promise you'd see the way around it if you read theory like our page keeps preaching.
The relationship between policy-maker and constituency is one of the key contradictions addressed in a revolutionary theory.
The constant corruption you are talking about is determined by the interactions of the economic laws of the accumulation of power and the class struggles it brings, entailed by the consequences of these laws.
You're drawing your perception from a place within you that is still telling the old stories, the ones thought of for us by feudal lords and capitalists - and yet, you yourself have said that your dream for a future society is one where, one by one, people wake up to a world not driven by the notion of maximize their own personal self-interests.
You're so close, Brisket. A better world is possible. All we have to lose is our chains
So cool to be a part of the first ever lavacrete/hempcrete build with Old Pueblo Hemp Co and Awareness Ranch, both based in Tucson, AZ. It’s an honor to be working alongside people willing to experiment and push known limits to make housing more affordable, accessible, healthy and durable. This building uses lavacrete support columns with hempcrete block walls, using a micropoz lime as the binder (no cement except the footer)

So jealous! Definitely building one of these ovens in my outdoor kitchen eventually!
For a long time, traditional permaculture never quite resonated with me. Despite sharing its deepest core values regarding the earth and human rights, the movement often felt stale and irrelevant—weighed down by a rigid, anti-technology dogma that treated modern comfort as a sin. It felt like the only accepted path was an ascetic retreat to a shack in the woods.
But I’m finally finding my way to true permaculture principles through a much more optimistic, tech-forward lens.
A massive turning point for me was finding Brad Lancaster’s pragmatic work on rainwater harvesting. He proves that we don't need to fear modern tools; we can use them to elegantly amplify biological systems and design abundance.
When you pair that ecological design with the solar optimism Bill McKibben outlines in his new book Here Comes the Sun, the ultimate missing piece falls into place. Modern green tech isn't an exploitation of the earth—it’s our liberation.
The ability to decouple our lives from the fossil fuel industry has tremendous implications. It isn't just about healing the climate and the environment; it completely rewrites our politics. We are witnessing the ultimate democratization of energy. Instead of a few elites and oligarchs hoarding power, infinite energy is suddenly decentralized and available to everyone.
If sustainable living requires us to surrender our modern dignity and downgrade our lives, it will never scale. But by pairing ancient techniques (like earth building and passive water harvesting) with modern solar arrays, battery banks, and global connectivity, we aren't regressing. We are building a high-tech, regenerative standard of living that people will actually want to adopt.
That is how this becomes a mass movement. That is how we change the world. ☀️🌱🔋

Under capitalism, democracy is just another thing that is for sale to the highest bidder. The market is centrally controlled by mega-corporations who have accumulated more power and money than the State itself. It is just a dictatorship of the market ghouls. Enforced by the most sophisticated propaganda machine ever devised.
It absolutely does need managed and not put to a vote.

Your mind is a weapon
That's not being cute
The point of the attention economy is to take this weapon away from you.
Resist
Let's discuss how; how to weaponize your mind.
Reading irony is a slow cognitive operation. To recognize it, a reader must parse the surface reading, hold it in working memory while scanning for contextual incongruency, retrieve background info about the author, genre, themes, and the situation, and then resolve the tension between between surface presentation in favor of the non-literal meaning
None of this is cognitively demanding for a practiced reader. But what it does require is a deliberate deceleration - a moment where you resist the impulse to react what is in front of you to instead hold it in suspension against what you already know.
The attention economy is a machine to eliminate that moment. The feed is designed so that the cost of moving to the next moment is always nothing and the reward for moving on is immediate. This cognitive interaction trained across a billion interactions every day shapes a collective behavior; read, react, move.
The step where you hold the surface reading in suspension and interrogate it against context is exactly the step this system selects against. The feed does not wait.
We are exposed to so much information at all times that we're trained to just react.
That's the whole point of the modern media ecosystem. It is a feature not a bug to be stuck in the eternal now with no contextual relevance between bits of information.
Your minds can consume and react without any critical evaluation.
People in this mode of consciousness, their perceptions do not reflect reality. It is a substitute reality they live in - one that generates a simulation consisting exclusively of media events referring only to other media events. This media does not represent the political world. It is the political world.
If we are not reflecting and criticizing and only reacting, then there's no time taken to compare these representations of the world with the world itself.
It all comes down to reading. The critical thinking skills and methodological approach to information is a full on arsenal against the tools designed to dumb you down into an obedient consumer.
Disciplined reading has always been a crucial step in revolutionary practice.
Read theory. Read fiction. Pause. Reflect.
The skills you gain will guide you where to place meaningful action.
Ours is not an ideology. It is an intuition.
https://blossom.primal.net/ba4d49a94420136acd5b3206cd2c0831db9d4865ad00e02c9735c0d72d1c35e2.jpg
“That which can be destroyed by the truth should be.”
This quote by PC Hodgell certainly applies to an neolibral global hegemonic empire that sanctions illegal human experimentation, incarceration of children for profits, uses its amassed wealth to enforce its will on the other side of the world rather than help its citizend, prosecutes whistleblowers, imprisons journalists for exposing US war crimes, shrouds its actions in a veil of government secrecy, exerts extensive control over the flow of information via Silicon Valley, and manipulates the minds of the public using the most sophisticated propaganda system ever devised.
It also applies to abusive relationships that would collapse if the community could see what was happening, or if the victim fully understood what was being done to them.
It also applies to marriages where one spouse isn’t being truthful about who they are and what they do in secret.
It also applies to worldviews that would crumble if contradicting facts were heard and deeply listened to with courage and intellectual honesty.
It also applies to the psychological constructs we hold within ourselves that were built when we were too young to understand the traumas we were experiencing and the maladaptive coping habits we were subconsciously forming to deal with them.
It also applies to the ego itself, which dissolves when sufficient attention and clarity has been brought to its mechanisms through rigorous self-inquiry.
At all levels, human dysfunction is held in place by untruth and dispelled by truth. The lies we hold onto as individuals, as communities, and as a society are what allows suffering and abuse to continue at whatever scale you’re looking at.
Humanity’s collective quest is to become a truth-driven species with a truth-based relationship with reality, because if you’re not dealing with reality as it actually is then you’re not able to respond to your challenges with wisdom and efficacy. We move in this direction by seeing through the mental narratives and perceiving reality as it is actually happening: as individuals, as a society, and as a species.
Tell the truth uncompromisingly, come what may. Let all that would crumble under untruth do so as swiftly as possible. May all be revealed. Let us face the ever-expanding light of truth with heroic courage.

You're on the path, my friend.
Just keep swimming.
The principal contradiction in our society, from which all other contradictions and historical materialism are spawned from, is that all the productivity we have achieved benefits everyone on a global scale. Yet the means of production are privately owned and therefore controlled and incentivized to concentrate wealth in a way that only benefits a few.
A course correction is long overdue
Pretending like you're fully attuned to the action happening all around you as a distracted soul encapsulated ape body so you can play the part of a sneering online dolt with nothing interesting to say is an admission you have never zoomed out enough to have ever for one moment been in the here and now
At this very moment, deep inside of the Earth, there is a waterfall that no one has found and it's been flowing since before you were born.
At this very moment, the Earth is alive with music that you'll never know. It's there we join in circles and move to a rhythm. One you'll never hear.
Senses open. Sense more then. Be wide open.
Let more in.
None of us are truly free...
Maybe one day
Isn't it weird to think when you're reading a book, the whole story is all already right there within the confines of the pages? Past, future, and the present moment you're reading - all there.
The Universe is the same.
Everything is happening all at once. All of it.
The moment is just coordinates, just like a book's chapters and words.
At the most fundamental levels of Reality, time is irrelevant. Everything we make; our music, our books, our stories, our paintings, all our art and achievements - they are all fractals of the bigger (or smaller) mechanations of the cosmos.
All the powers that exist in Heaven are present in the Earth below.
As above...
So below.

Meditation is the conscious act of listening to your heart
A few years ago I began considering the future, which has been a novelty to me because I never really thought I had one.
That is how they get us. They convince us there is no future. Only an eternal now. And that the best we can do is survive until dawn only to do it all over again.
That's no way to live.
So I've discovered, to some surprise, that I'm interested in living. I'm interested in building a *way* to live.
And I think I will start here...

No reason for the working class to demand anything if we, as a society, arrive at the dream you describe.
There'd be no need to demand anything. No need for material incentives. No need for money. Or class. Or a State.
We can literally just do things without any of that. Build houses, fix roads, defend ourselves, create wildlife maximization districts, educate children, invent new shit, restore the Earth and our health.
The money is just the ledger between people who do not trust other people. It's just another SOV, or a store of energy. It's abused. We don't need it. We can actually do and accomplish all the things without it. It holds us back. Creates Black markets and dirty money profit incentives
Like wtf is a for profit prison? Or a for profit hospital?
What I'm saying is, the dream is quite literally beyond our wildest dreams. What we could do with this planet with the knowledge we have. Makes my heart sing.
If only we could just work together like a community** not work for self-interests or fake money.
Sounds to me like your a pacifist.
If your landlord won't accept your demands, "make" them.
Therein lies the duty part. It's specifically *not* a request.
The productive side absolutely can demand what the landlords will not accept.
In fact, it's our duty.
What they will not accept we will not endure. The new paradigm will organize around our interests and our rights.
Robot army is silly. The real problems are human. Change the conditions change the outcome. The future is what we make of it.

The Daoist approach is extremist complacency
I guess I'd finally believe the struggle is not material. I'd give up completely on trying to make impactful change a daily practice. I'd quit reading history and trying to understand this big question of what is life. I'd spend less time networking and building robust systems. I wouldn't give any one my energy cuz it wouldn't make a difference.
I'd probably kill myself to see if that, even, had any chance at altering the path of pre determination.
But luckily it is not like that.
Luckily, when all the big tech bro capitalist elites tell us NFTs, or the Metaverse, or rogue AI is just an inevitability of human nature, they're just being stupid. They're selling something. Gathering investors.
But the truth is it is all up to chance. Nothing is pre determined. The future is what we make it. The world in its current form is completely unnecessary. All of it is human constructed problems that we can absolutely solve.
How would your worldview change if you stopped believing in randomness? What if you knew everything is exactly as it should be?
https://blossom.primal.net/db763f31389a4051aa96dae9f543acd3f0a4a06b711fe3689752c2e530d2910e.gif
All I want is education about these facts to be available and empowering.
You would make a good comrade.
I want people to be able to live in houses their family has owned for generations. I want people to be able to have clean working conditions and fair wages. I want the money to not be shallow and faith based. I want the Epstein class to lose their ability to concentrate resources into the hands of the few.
I want the big feelings I am capable of feeling not to ring hollow because of that which was stolen from us, brother.
Oh the things we could do with this Earth if we owned the means of production....
If that makes me a communist, so be it.
I am once again logging on to remind you of the absolute necessity of reviving the hypothesis that this version of the world is unnecessary. Under the guidance of this hypothesis may we finally begin to determine what new modes of politics are possible.
We can absolutely make things differently.
None of this was an inevitability.
All we have to lose is our chains.
There's absolutely no reason to respect authority born of a system built on lies and exploitation
A house is not to be a store of wealth. I own a house because I built it myself. But I should not have had to learn how to do that and then do it. Our ancestors should've left us infrastructure.
But a buncha landlord lobbies created zoning laws long before any of you were born so they could cap the supply and reap the profits of surging demand.
You will never be able to afford a house in America by working hard for a wage. You either need an inheritance or to hack the system in what small ways are left like I did.
China has falling house prices and excess inventory. Speculative investors who were developing housing for the sake of flipping/upselling are losing money or even going to prison.
It's a major buyer's market unmatched by anywhere else in the world. It's amazing and great; the complete opposite of what we see in the US.
