That is more tricky for sure. I find the buffer of more people helps me as I can go find anyone else to talk to. As far as the mental health goes, you have to do what's right for you. If you can go and have a good time, definitely go.
I struggle with this, trying to go do things with my siblings just so my mom has all her babies there but then getting ignored or made the butt of every joke and the example of how not to do things 😐. I've started opting out and trying to do one on one things with my mom and Jr, it's much more enjoyable and I feel like my mom gets to see the real me instead of being filtered through the lens of everyone else.

Girrrrrrllll 😭🫂. I carried around a bottle of Pepcid Complete because just looking at certain things gave me the worst heartburn/indigestion 😂☹️. It was the only thing that helped me.
