Both matter. Neither solves the other's problem.
Australia's own defence planning recognises the missile age. The civilian conversation needs to catch up.
Not with speculative alerts that missiles are about to land.
With credible threat assessments, clear warning protocols and practical preparedness.
Because if that day ever comes, the public won't need a photo opportunity.
