Case in point: #logseq my beloved note-taking outliner shot itself in the foot by splitting its codebase and for all intents and purposes dropping its Markdown file-based backend for a SQLite database. Its development was already stagnant and this amounted effectively to a coup de grâce if you ask me.
#logseq is written in the beautiful programming language #clojure one so niche that contributing to the project must be like joining a software engineering circlejerk just for software engineering’s sake. UI, UX, roadmap, performance, et al. be damned.
And still #logseq concepts were sound, many users myself included validated it with our own data.
That’s why I for one welcome #tine a lightning-fast, multi-platform, compatible #loseq re-implementation written in butt-ugly #rust with the help of #claude #AI
And maybe, just maybe, this is how #foss projects get killed and reborn by #AI

Many great things happening on the blake2b side. Its not quite like how you describe it.
Mining pools are rejecting stratum v1 miners, a real cancer to Bitcoin. We have forced them to mine on their own nodes via their own datum gateways. Pleb miners protecting their own economic value! That is not something small and hardly the case on the sha256 side.
No kyc! No big exchanges are listing xbt. We have 2-3 non kyc exchanges and it doesn't look like the coin will ever be listed. This is great news! No one is begging to have their faces scanned and identity tied to their addresses. Kyc is antithetical to Bitcoin so we just removed that entirely.
Lightning is up and running and you can even cross operate so I can pay a sha256 lightning invoice with my blake2b lightning node. Basically its just two lightning nodes that use a HTLC to make the swap atomic. Same sha256 function.
Non-kyc ethos, pleb mining, builders, self- starters, high agency individuals. All the things a true bitcoiner values. All things that highly resonate amongst blake2b camp.
