Saylor is not a bitcoiner and anyone that says he is, I am suspicious of. Saifadean has sided with Saylor and the Tether bros which leads me to conclude he's up to something other than Bitcoin. The CBDC is coming but it won't be a Central Bank Digital Currency, that was a red herring. It will be a Corporate Bank Digital Currency and i can already imagine Saifadean vying for the position of Chief Economist.
Look at the things Tether is doing. They want USD on Bitcoin. Saylor is trying to reform Bitcoin and kill medium of exchange. Saifadean is of the opinion that Bitcoin can just beat USD on its merits only, because it is "harder money" all the while it is getting hollowed out by Saylor et al.
Bitcoin is being bled out by a thousand cuts and people are concerned about the USD exchange value of their Bitcoin. I dont think people have appreciated the challenge of separating money and state and the measures required to do this. Few, in my opinion, are willing and ready.
