I think that what’s referred to as ‘vibe-coded slop’ when talking about poor implementations is a bit of a cop-out.
I remember very clearly that my Amiga 500, back in the late 1980s, displayed animations (look up “demoscene”) with hundreds of sprites running at 50 frames per second. So in 2026, when I see a website with a background image displaying a measly 12 pixels that struggle to reach 10 frames per second for their animation and which take up 30 per cent of my laptop’s processing power (12 logical cores), I don’t think it’s AI that’s to blame.

Hey ! (sending this here as a reply as you guys did not set your DM relays.)
This morning we could only count 2 or 3 reposts and reactions in our inbox relays... so we checked how the events (reposts, quotes, reactions) made by participants from your website were published, and we were a little bit confused, as it seems that most events never were published on NIP-65 relays (not ours as the boost/quote/reaction events should have reached at least our "read" relays, and not even the senders' "write" relays!).
As a result, we don't think we'll use this service again for now. Too bad because we find it to be something that could really revolutionize social advertising work.
Let us know if we did not get something right.

This is one of the main reasons why I am still struggling a little bit in deciding what would be the best UI/UX for NIP-42 permissions in CustID.
I am currently considering replacing the "Allow" / "Always allow" / "Reject" / "Always reject" buttons with just "Trust" / "Don't trust" buttons.
