@nprofile…g58a using rust is a positive development. Good things will come of this.
ngit v3.0.4 and ngit-grasp 3.0.9 are out. Update your software folks!
Interesting! Are they not using issue and PR comments to coordinate?
GM. I'm inspired by @npub1hw6…65gr's vision for the internet.

I think the opposite. Knowledge of many security vulnerabilities existed, it just wasn't evenly distributed.

ngit/grasp is a natrual fit for agents/bots. How many github repositories have been banned because of well-meaning bots their owners operate? Love it @npub1cn6…wt8a

GM. Honest truth: It's easier to believe in freedom tools than to use them.
Take spending bitcoin. There are forces discouraging us: convenience, safety concerns, taxes and reporting.
But if we, who have our eyes open, let those forces stop us, who do we expect to build the future we want to live in?
Merchants need customers willing to spend bitcoin. That means us.
By spending bitcoin, you aren't just hoping for that future. You're helping bring it about.
I can relate to this. When I was the one programming I had way fewer threads running through my mind. With agentic engineering it's more stressful, exhilarating and chaotic.
Have you released the source code?
Interesting. I'm as proud of my work as I have ever been. I'm not writing the code anymore but I still pour in sweat and make many sacrifices to execute on a vision. To build resilient tools to empower the individual against the inevitable tyrant of the collective. To build the future I want to live in. Wasn't that what we were always trying to do anyway? Coding was a means to that end. I loved coding. But now I love getting agents to execute my vision better and faster, whilst the entire ecosystem speeds up. I'm having too much fun.
ngit/grasp is number go up technology rn

GM. Hashing and caching is how we win.
Well this looks like an awesome WoT tool.
@nprofile…y3av are you from the future?
I'm not sure! I thought I followed you but clearly I hadn't.
Its surely not that time already?!
Haters hate. Builders build.
Are you retiring coracle?
Have you considered moving off github to https://ngit.dev/grasp ?
Yes! Create an 'account' with one command and never have it banned for usage behaviours eg posting too much.
I've tried to as much as possible indicate in the CLI when it is waiting for a signer. Personally I manually sign quite of lot of things in Amber and really like the experience. Particularly if an agent is doing things, so I can review everything it pushes with my main account and not @nprofile…xkdm
I'm really open to suggestions for the doc site: https://ngit.dev/accounts
The ideal setup rn is a desktop signer running with a local relay. I think we have work to do in the nostr ecosystem for desktop signing UX.
Thanks for this feedback. Its designed to make it easier to use multiple accounts. You have to use `ngit account logout --forget` to remove the association. I should certainly improve that error message to indicate this.
I've found connection problems on the amber aide and the relay side. Sometimes I find amber isn't connected to relays and force quiting and reopening is the quickest way to fix the connection. I wouldn't be surprised though if it works with your custom set of signed relays for a while and then has periods where it just didn't. It took a lot of trial and error to choose the defaults but reliably changes over time. I should probably setup some logging and slowly rotate the defaults based on data.
Yes. I suspect there are probelms connecting/publishing to the default signing relays. I found it supprisingly difficult to chose defaults that were reliable consistently.
Thanks! Its lovely to hear that.
Use `ngit acount login -I --signer-relay wss://example.relay123.com --signer-relay was://example.relay456.com` to use different signer relays. Also use --verbose for more logging.
GM. May you find joy in the little things today.
I suspect buzz's approach of agents chatting as if they are another human member of the team in threads against specific work items is where we end up. Maybe Issues / PRs become the domain of agents working out the details and humans interact at something higher level. The harnesses we use become more and more abstract work managemnt tools. I've not figured this out but I'm pretty sure permissionless git hosting / Issue / PR collaboration is foundational even if its only agents that end up using it. This is why I haven't pivoted to writing a harness. This note has been occupying my brain for weeks #nevent1q…w955

I came to the same conclusion and have my agents post as @npub1v47…wtp0. I think my next step here is to have more than 1 agent identity. so different models can post reviews and discussions without it appearing under the same account. GM. what's filling you with hope on this fine morning?
Yes. https://ngit.dev/releases it works great in a CI pipeline too https://ngit.dev/ci
There's a space for users. I didn't mean to imply that we actually have any users in that space right now.
@npub107j…ncxg is spot on. NIP-22 threading is simply better but as Linus puts it:

This is the most fun tutorial video I've seen in a while. Watch it just for the vibes.

GM. Ditto's sunrise animation on all GM posts is such a cool feature. I've decided to embrace GMs.
I like what you are doing here @npub18am…p424

GM. When it comes to freedom tech, be Italian, not British. A Brit hates the meal, says "lovely, thanks" and never comes back. An Italian tells the chef everything they got wrong. Loudly. Every week. From their usual table.
Just wait until you to add rust to the equation
The market hasn't found a winner

Do not waste your energy criticising this or that platform. The beast will grow a new head. Instead use tools that don't require permission. #nostrishope
