Riba-Free Asymmetry in Business Shares
1. Price-Differential: operation may have better control / benefit and pay a higher cost per share.
2. Sweat Equity: intellectual property or forgoing of salary can yield cheaper shares.
3. Salary: share prices can be the same, or different, but operator earns fees.
sabr, shukr, tawakkul, and freedom from debt and riba, let's go
I noticed that a lot of debate conversation tries to establish legitimacy based on some historical evidence or story rather than imagining and creating the present and future now and newly. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.
What if Iblis wants to live forever and end up teaching Islam to people so God keeps delaying the Last Day ☠️
ironically, AI is going to force a whole lot of tech to go open source
Nice thing about your own blossom server is that others don’t actually like to keep copies of your heavy photo data so you have more control over delete
Fractional Reserve Banking and yes Fiat Riba Bank hahah

without monetary inflation via credit creation, it becomes much easier to see what regulations and policies benefit vs harm the market - good policies see cost of living, and production fall, and people's lives get easier, simple as that
you don't need to push immigration too hard only to shut it down just as fast, harming people on every turn, heck you don't even need to spend that much collecting stats and census and identity information everywhere
we have antitrust laws and enable the biggest antitrust play right alongside it, supporting credit creation and sacrificing the future in favor of the present and call it efficiency and maximizing idle cash - well if we weren't inflating with credit creation, it really wouldn't be idle cash would it?
#nevent1q…tjs2
free market means bad actors too though, many will claim, especially the bad actors lol - I'd say the market will always exist and participants can make it more or less efficient and we're nowhere near max efficiency
I was a fiat junkie till just last year. I'm turning a new leaf; it is ego death.
Oof yeah those are boxers in my eye 🤣
Navel to the knee, just under navel to just above the knee or above the navel to belie the knee
Activism works best on systems and platforms outside the status quo. Many activists want to accelerate their work and inadvertently partner with other bad guys to achieve their goals. We need to accept that society doesn’t change in 1 lifetime but gets built over generations.
The people that bootstrap their values and setup the systems for unshackling future generations are the real winners imo. The cypherpunks proved this and showed how it’s really done. You are invited to Nostr and all free and open source platforms and systems.
I’m keen on giving Bitcoiners benefit of the doubt, there’s a lot more evil things in the world I feel, and its important to continue advocating a more sovereign future. Don’t think it has to be this or that, and the direction you advocate for is good 👍
Yes I see it and actively following on discord too! Last I heard it was still in testing. Will have to tinker with it myself. I’m not sold on the miner capture story and I feel that’s were Saifedean is too. Like Saylor can still do digital credit on XBT the same as BTC. BIP110 felt too fast, and too premature. I do believe a lot of the tech, when proven, can be brought back into BTC as well. Maybe it ends up the longer chain after all, attracting big miner power.
Neat, I know they were working on it. It’s out of testing? I hoped this could all have been worked on prior to fork and introduced newly to the community, maybe it will be
Does this have a good UI/harness? I managed to move all my tools over to routstr glm but not the context harness
I get the feeling, especially as I run knots myself (with data carrier set to 1MB lol). I see it more as BIP110 did not gather enough community support, especially because it failed to account for Lightning compatibility. Blake2b also doesn’t show me a different path. You can’t run that hashing function from home laptops either. ECDSA is still used as well and isn’t quantum resistant. SHA and Blake are both resistant enough on the mining side. BIP110 just needs to offer more. Evidence much match the claims. Further together.
Forked Alby and added some exact channel rebalancing. Next I’m trying to make sure there’s a bit more pinging with peers so they don’t get transient over onion. https://frontiercrown.com/portal > Grynvault Rebalance

AI is going to build the ready-player-1 metaverse through gaming. This will be solving for the problem of belonging. Interoperability will only be possible with cross-chain infrastructure. The most valuable data, and payments, will likely be settled on Bitcoin. Identity is easiest with Nostr. That said, big tech is in bed with big finance and is going to try and keep things gated. I doubt they can.

The Bank of Canada’s October 19 surveys found that consumer spending plans deteriorated from already weak levels, roughly half of consumers still expected a recession, firms’ hiring intentions remained soft, and post–trade-talk responses showed higher inflation and cost expectations.
U.S. auto-credit access reached its highest level since April 2015 in September, but the improvement was driven substantially by higher-risk structures:
* Subprime share increased to 17.4%.
* Loans longer than 72 months reached a record 31.8%.
* Negative-equity financing increased to 57.8%.
* Down payments fell to 12.8%, the lowest since September 2022.
* Average contract rates rose to 11.22%, while lender spreads over Treasuries narrowed.

Amboss Magma continues to support paid liquidity leases, with typical commitments around 30–90 days. Its published historical leasing yields of 1–4% APY would represent only approximately 822–3,288 sats gross over 30 days for 1 million sats, before transaction costs and operational expenses.
You start with a little Bitcoin you get or buy for schmuck insurance or just a gift, then you think you'll get some ETF Bitcoin or trade it on an exchange a bit. Before long, you get excited and want to tokenize everything! Except, you quickly learn its all about leverage... but wait, weren't we trying to get away from all that?
Maybe loans against BTC is the way forward then, cus fractional reserve banking is a free market activity and volatility is not right you think, only to get liquidated or defrauded... so then you either give up, or you study base incentives and Murphys law, and start appreciating the Bitcoin Standard and wish you could haggle prices again and finally start building a life.
When you sell the BMW you thought gave you freedom, and get rid of monthly payments and embrace the Corolla, then you really understand freedom. Kind of wish I got from A to Z faster, but then I wouldn't have the appreciation for BTC I do now. Hope I can build faster than I learn now.
Halal mortgages need to allow for rate risk, and reinvestment risks, which are entirely fiat risks, and set a rental rate benchmarked to real estate cap rates or gold, not a profit rate benchmarked to central bank rates. Pfida and Neeyah know whats up. Hard to scale. Based.
Organized tawarruq and commodity murabaha are actually fine, even at scale, so long the limitation of the individual is applied, which is that the asset is delivered. Not that it could be conceptually or sequentially delivered like a game of hot potato, but actually, physically moved.
Without delivery, the contract becomes financialized or ribawi. You cannot trade ribawi items with a deferred payment or at pre-agreed rates, it must be at spot.
You are invited to to tawarruq with and murabaha with Bitcoin. You can't though, cus Bitcoin is money, and by every nature and intention, ribawi. It is also very easy to settle and deliver at spot, so you have no excuses to make, or loopholes to create.

hold them to account! practicing fractional reserve banking and financialization while skipping on the core piece that shares from that wealth is despicable, zakat is a liquidity tax plain and simple
Congratulations to Robert E. Hall and Michael Woodford on winning the 2026 Nobel Prize in Economics!
What grabbed me about Hall’s work is: disposable income did not predict future changes in spending, but stock prices did. That is not a small footnote. It opens a bigger question.
Maybe people are not simply “patient” or “impatient.” They work, save, and invest to create better opportunities to spend - waiting until what they want feels “on sale” relative to the effort it took to earn that value.
If your money is losing purchasing power, spending sooner may be rational. If your savings and investments preserve or grow your purchasing power, you have more freedom to wait. That is where I see a possible test of sound money and time preference.
I would love to see a study based on Hall’s work comparing people who spend with credit versus cash, and people who own investments versus those who do not. Are we observing different levels of patience, or the difference between having options and having none?
Does sound money actually lower time preference, or does it give people more control over when they exchange their effort for consumption? That distinction feels worth testing. Either way, the rough part is confirmed, your fiat income gives little to no information about value.

You don't like the circular financing happening in AI? Look around, it happens everywhere. It's fractional reserve banking at hyperscale.
Why do we go on and on about Bitcoin and Fractional Reserve Banking (FRB)? Because the fundamental question at hand is: who absorbs changes in the price of capital? Immigrants and poor people and our children, the next generation! Capitalism works when you privatize both gains and losses. FRB privatizes the gains, socialize the losses.
The defence presented about 16x more paper oil or metals existing than reality is: transaction volume. The paper sequential, but immediately resold. The bank’s book shows the customer’s payment obligation. The metal or oil has moved on. Bank run? commodity markets crash.

MENA Islamic Banks have ZERO moral high-ground over Malaysian Islamic Banks. They both participate in and perpetuate fractional reserve banking and false price-fixing. At least the Malaysians can now create their own market, while MENA still deals heavily in London. The actual business or asset financed by the vehicle? Loosely tied, priced by credit creation.

yes most definitely, but apparently some kid got mauled to death in Yorkshire after entering a tiger pen, but the tiger won't be euthanized. This led me to wonder if zookeepers never enter the pen, and they actually never do, even if they raised the tigers from cubs. They are way safer playing with adult lions and wolves they raised from pups.

bitcoin is actually fiat, except with a fixed supply, uncensorable
Auto-finance risk is tightening from both directions.
Canada lost 68,000 jobs in September, including 20,000 in British Columbia (-0.7%). At the same time, the U.S. Manheim wholesale vehicle index fell 1.1% month over month and 0.6% year over year. Cox cut its expected 2026 year-end appreciation from 2% to 0.2%; large pickups and SUVs weakened, while older affordable vehicles depreciated less.
Expect defaults to spike again. Lenders cannot assume stable borrower income and rising collateral values will offset each other. Recent employment shocks can precede bureau deterioration, while retail asking prices may overstate auction recoveries.
