ARISS Voice Repeater Status: We’ve received reports that the crossband voice repeater did not return to service following Monday’s contact with Norcross, GA.

The ARISS operations team is working with the ISS payloads team to investigate.

Crew availability may be limited this week due to the scheduled ISS EVA. Combined with a planned radio outage on Wed., Friday’s radio power-up may be the first opportunity for the crew to troubleshoot the issue.

We’ll share updates as they become available.

The ARISS operations team is working with the ISS payloads team to send a message to the crew requesting that the radio be returned to its default repeater configuration. This is dependent on crew availability and may not occur until Friday.
