Defederating doesn&#39;t affect Zuck much (aside from possibly claiming to be the victim?), but it does remove a chance for people currently in the walled garden to peek over the hedge. I don&#39;t think I&#39;ve had any interaction with threads accounts yet personally, but if it does seem to be toxic I&#39;d have no hesitation in blocking (and supporting a site-wide action).
