The skin around her eyes has healed and her shaved face is growing back nicely. Her previous foster, “G” had a hard time managing her fur, but G did an awesome job curing Fizz of her food aggression. G made sure that Fizz always had more hay in her pen than any rabbit could possibly eat. <br/><br/>This is Fizz’s mad face after lots of trimming, brushing, and the dreaded pedicure. She’s back. (Below photo is from awhile ago.) After fostering Fizzgig for about two years, last spring we asked if someone else could foster her. Although we did get pretty adept at making her look nice, she would still randomly bite us. She went to another volunteer’s house who has lots of experience and whose super power is bonding groups of rabbits. <br/><br/>Unfortunately, the volunteer wasn’t able to keep Fizz calm enough to groom her. You don’t need to see a photo of her now :( She has a skin ulcer under one of her eyes, because her fine, silky fur would wick her tears out and leave crusty, irritating gunk on her skin. She will be fine, but the vet had to shave her face. But in case this helps, we had a wonderful rabbit named Butternut who would use his litter box except when we changed out things and it was nice and fresh. We would put a few poops in for scent but that didn’t help. Two adult humans came to meet her and another bunny named Hildegard, and the humans adopted both of them. Marge will also be living with two normal-sized cats and a 20-pound Maine Coon cat. That sounds like a fabulous life for all of them ❤️ <br/><br/>We need to get our little Fizzgig adopted. She’s been with us for over two years. Our bunny hair dressing skills have improved :) We’d love to see her go to a home with another rabbit to kiss her eyes when they get weepy and help her feel safe.
