I was the &#34;go to&#34; guy for anybody who couldn&#39;t get their SunOS configuration right, or the line printers in operations wouldn&#39;t print, or they didn&#39;t know why the Cray Y-MP at the laser lab wasn&#39;t booting.<br/><br/>But thirty-five years on and I&#39;m just tired. None of the current adversarial OS behavior, AI stuffed software, and locked down hardware is fun any longer. I don&#39;t know if it&#39;s because things have changed so much, or if I&#39;m just getting old.
