I see that Slate cheap electric pickups is offering preorders for mid-2027 delivery. Their name is obviously not an anagram "Tesla" by accident. Which brings to mind other possible Tesla knockoff names:
STEAL
LEAST
STALE
STELA, a small stone obelisk used to mark graves, brings to mind the "like a rock" marketing campaign for that truck... "How does it handle, Bob? Like a rock!"
SALET, a type of helmet, also called a "salade" because it's like wearing a salad bowl on your head,
SETAL, like a seta, which is a stiff hair or bristle,
and then we get into plurals, plus the obscure
ASTEL
which The Free Dictionary has as "An arch, or ceiling, of boards, placed over the men's heads in a mine." [from the 1913 edition of Webster, thus "men's"] or possibly the Nahuatl word for "louse" if you believe Wiktionary. This is the one that sounds the most like a car imo.

I'm founding a new philosophy called Elective Altruism (EA) where I do altruism when I want to and the rest of the time I don't.

Wait, just in, I'm hearing that not only did I steal my acronym and most of my name from the Effective Altruism movement, I stole their content too.

Luckily they're ok with that sort of thing.
