They&#39;ve been conditioned to think that anything goes and they shouldn&#39;t judge and what&#39;s normal anyway and nobody wants to be thought of as prudish and boring. <br/>I just wish people would own their ideas and admit that having porn-addled men in women&#39;s spaces or that mutilating children is ok by them, rather than evading the issue and hiding behind slogans. Many think of this in the abstract and don&#39;t dwell too long on the possible negatives because that involves work. Part of the problem is that many people never reasoned themselves into their position but instead adopted it as a path of least resistance or a safe from social criticism or a full member of the right tribe. So the best way to deal with any gut feelings that some of this isn&#39;t right is to blame those who speak against it for being mean. <br/>They also need to realise that there is no moderate position with these people. It&#39;s all or nothing; accede to their demands or be branded. Don&#39;t think, just comply. And in 2020 we all saw just how many will not just comply but will demand it of others and consider themselves virtuous. <br/>I think the tide is turning, but nothing will ever get sorted because too many people just want to put it behind them and forget that they were ever gullible enough to fall for the propaganda.
