Get something fixed at the Pop Up Repair Cafe this Saturday!

Wellingborough Eco Group

Wellingborough Repair Café takes place this Saturday, 10am-2pm, this time at ECO HUB. There are no promises and no guarantees, but if something can be saved, our repairers will give it their best efforts.

* You can basically bring anything you can carry that will not make a mess in the venue. Whatever it is, it might not even be broken – just dirty, and you don’t know how to clean it without damaging it, or you can’t work out how to use it without the manual – bring it along.
* There is no need to book, just turn up with your broken item. You can even bring more than one thing, though to be fair, we have limited each time slot to one item, so you may have to join the queue a few times!

Bring you broken items to ECO HUB from 10am-2pm this Saturday, 3rd October. We look forward to seeing you and what you bring in...

Some beautiful, decorative ornaments can be made from straw. You may have seen them used as decorations at festivals to celebrate the gathering of the harvest.

This is a beginners workshop and we will be making some of the smaller types of corn dolly for you to take home.

The workshop will take place at: Ladywell Allotments (off Hillside Rd) Wellingborough. NN8 4HE

Buy NOW - Cost £10 per person, booking using the button on our website (or at ECO HUB) is essential as places are limited.

CROYLAND PARK LITTER PICK this Saturday!

Wellingborough Eco Group and Wellie Wombles

This Month’s Two Hour Tidy Up takes place on Saturday 26th September on Croyland Park. We will be setting up our Recycling Station from 9:30 on the field just off Kingsway car park, for litter picking between 10 and 12. We will be litter picking the whole park and the nearby streets.

This location has been chosen by Victor, a Local Councillor! As a group we have tidied up this area before, but not as a group pick since last year, so there’s a lot to do to make the park tidy again.

See street view map on our website for the location: https://wellingboroughecogroup.org.uk/eco/2026/09/23/litter-picking-croyland-park-2/

To help us and keep us safe at this and future litter picks, Wellingborough Eco Group have purchased some litter pickers, hi-vis vests and safety equipment including road signs, so everything is provided but please bring your own gloves if you can. Join us if you can, ALL WELCOME!
