The limits (120μg/m³) were set in 1978 and are for a maximum of 30 minutes due to respiratory concerns. Many houses insulated with this UF-foam emit concentrations much higher than this limit, but as formaldehyde is a neurotoxin there is no safe dose (much like lead).

Funnily enough UF-foam has been banned in North America since the 80s, why are we still using this exactly?! You can even get government subsidies for installing this. 2026-03-12T19:20:36Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsyx4r3wmlhm55qawym05npw6zakv57yg7apqzctpc429u3f87ypjqzyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2tthy9a In reply to nevent1q…hzll
_________________________

That's right, it goes in the square hole

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/oT_oXm1nxWw

2026-02-12T21:22:25Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqstkxlx569ndprdhpj54hzfgz4gmsdk54dtl6eueg0avv0vjt5mssczyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2lj48rh https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7A6JQH2P5Nc

2026-02-12T21:18:05Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsx9qyy0fhr32dkvnhtsdefekyrqlp2lw3ngkmhlhhntv7sykn0kngzyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd20xwzdv Good morning fedi, all NS trains in the country are cancelled this morning due to frozen switches and an additional technical outage

2026-01-06T06:03:44Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqst57dffnwhgkvxa9c8rxrrvzsxh5wswr5hmfj2vahcp95pt36rsmgzyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd22h5a0n Dutch fedi: fight

Which of the following snacks is best?

🔁✅ 2025-09-13T17:09:15Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsf9ycwrnaqndp283qajpvxs5gu3dkq9c3jzgv0ve9ukzeyjw68pzczyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2mvkw8j In reply to nevent1q…9aj7
_________________________

you have 26 moomin mugs?? 2025-08-16T13:32:48Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs0t4dk3xe5p6mly487yeqgh9ulpryr52nk3ac2r68pe2q6f93cn0gzyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2gme7wh In reply to nevent1q…ulc3
_________________________

what its called a can opener for a reason 2025-07-26T16:33:06Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs84kgut5cj7wy8r97cll5yz47mq5gaqn9a9g4zamdjnrqkcve5ksgzyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2vfwyst Help I dont know how this weird German check in pole works

2025-07-15T06:31:05Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqszmh2khtuqpylrc0yfq0vj7w9frladf8q9vld6vl4wgntglq7gqxczyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2eve0xl Hey fedi what do you mainly use to unlock your phone? 2025-03-25T21:33:51Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsw39r7esg89v5vynguuf03v3l0hgyfduph44zwrhjvxjc7spz7cggzyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2uhqlx8 In reply to nevent1q…5see
_________________________

but what i dont like is how an 200€ router and 140€ powerline ap work this bad because the router ffs has only 2 LAN ports! But the new Fritz power line is much better than the old crappy KPN branded powerline we had (back when I installed it the first time like 6 months ago I got 40Mbps max on the original power line to my server downstairs but 180Mbps over the Fritz power line, over lan ofc)

But idk my parents live in the middle of the city so there's 81262926 WiFi networks around us ofc which makes this hard (and why I thought screaming louder than the neighbours might help by getting a second mesh AP)

Networks were a mistake 2025-03-02T22:29:53Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqst998zlw76uwam9a7gr2834utqq07rcveeza0j800a4f5f5j8kfzqzyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd27l84c5 In reply to nevent1q…q5yv
_________________________

Ever since we went from the stupid KPN ExperiaBox to a fancy fritzbox weve only had WiFi issues

Cable works fine but WiFi is constantly disconnecting or showing connected (no internet) or speeds of 0,6Mbps

We have a fritz power line with ap to try to fix the awful connection speed upstairs but sometimes it helps and I have a feeling now that it only makes everything worse so I'm just gonna try disconnecting it 2025-03-02T22:10:17Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsf2xq0dnmw2a0ekw2w24mqcd3kymg3emucw2uhkm6pmmzegudppzczyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2p8ywmw I hate fritzbox 2025-03-02T22:06:56Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqszfugq8x83j80f0kyp8h6l2yf3u3yq7w8w7kwpgw6mzmkl62ua59gzyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd24rethw Repairable nokia HMD smartphones:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgXtPp3n5IQ

Fairphone suddenly not so unique anymore 2025-01-09T18:24:59Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsp7v2tc9luf0ra8uvrldn2x6hud2qkluh45p08r28jy6zrvvpmuzqzyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd27896hr In reply to nevent1q…xysd
_________________________

yeah fair but I almost never create archives anyways

and if I do I need to use .zip because windows people :/ 2024-11-17T17:24:34Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs8nuqtynlss4fcdtnhew9rg9j3qmxs47sqav0phpwxnj2j0f745lgzyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2dl6rs0 In reply to nevent1q…we9s
_________________________

I dont know why people struggle with tar, it can figure out what flags to use itself, just do "tar extract file"

tar xf filename.tar.gz

it uses the file extention to find the correct (de)compression format to use 2024-11-17T17:21:47Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsdcmfnyddv87clm8jht3e6e6024qzzhy0r62d0m48cz22e449wl4szyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2f7aq4s https://xkcd.com/1168/

2024-11-17T17:17:23Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsyqwskmcapqz7rugdxnchggvsfv6qfr9c59qjnjdudct9z492w6lszyqmcl2pvv52r0y3mvt9tytvys0eknmx8jtdlxgwx8jdfwxh2wfxd2yujnl7 In reply to nevent1q…ygql
_________________________

you can make ice coffee with waste coffee from experimenting!
