I've connected it (on different instances) to my own ntfy.sh instance. It works flawlessly, stable and reliable. Thanks again, really appreciate it!

Dear Nextcloud, do you have further information? I would really appreciate it - thank you in advance.

Thank you. But you did not answer my questions.
Nextcloud Talk and in particular the push notifications will not work properly without Google Services. Neither with manually installed and configured Unified Push services nor with other self-hosted services. It is just not configurable in the app as shown in the screenshot.
Or am i wrong? Please point me and the community to the right and relevant documentation. My concern:
If Google or Mr. Trump would stop Googles Services for us, Nextcloud Talk won't work as expected and no notifications will be sent!

Unfortunately no response yet - I try answer myself: Nextcloud Talk is still sending Push-Notifications via Google Services. But what will happen if google would stop offering these services or Mr. Trump ... ? Nextcloud Talk would not be usable any longer or do I miss something?

Dear @npub1rk6…hv4q
i found this: https://github.com/nextcloud/talk-android/issues/257#issuecomment-4355401822
👇 :nextcloud: 👇
"UnifiedPush will be officially available with Nextcloud 34 on 2026-06-09"
Could you confirm that Nextcloud Talk will send Push Notifications via it's own Nextcloud-Server and NextPush - App instead (or addtitional) of using Google-Services (gcm/fcm)? Is it already implemented in the f-droid "Nextcloud Talk - App" yet?
Really appreciate your response - a dream would become true.
