There are reasons why even people who hate Windows have to use it, and we still need to have our system drive encrypted. 2026-10-28T14:55:35Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsr62grsf7gwgn3kw7lakjgau6nf99xhzhpjvzw2fm2wp3hud2mxaszypedqpuy2f64hyf6dg4ez7ty0ms4e0378etggze4j08rc563vmn9qz7algq In reply to nevent1q…q04n
_________________________

On Windows? 2026-10-28T14:44:03Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs9rcx6yxte7aumlcvfrhmdd4kdpwcswkdnq84xqft705rj436q5ugzypedqpuy2f64hyf6dg4ez7ty0ms4e0378etggze4j08rc563vmn9qpv5ym3 In reply to nevent1q…kml9
_________________________

Why and what do you suggest instead? 2026-10-28T14:15:35Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqswue97qffgr5r24a8cwmpmezhu3y2fvr55lr77gjx8j3lvffyqfhqzypedqpuy2f64hyf6dg4ez7ty0ms4e0378etggze4j08rc563vmn9quz6n5y I was skeptical at first, but this app is actually amazing and way better than the built-in night light feature. The build is solid. It definitely feels better than other non-Apple laptops I've used, and the keyboard is even better than my old MacBook. The touchpad is average. I've had a couple of weird moments with it a while back, but that might have been a software issue (I'm running Windows on it).

The only problem is the fan noise. It gets very loud even for minor tasks like installing software or even downloading an LLM, but they say the Laptop 13 Pro fixes it, so I'm waiting for the upgrade kit to be available. If the fan noise is actually resolved, I can confidently say it's the perfect laptop. 2026-08-30T07:26:32Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs0474pa4kxx39w22r08xfztrjg0sakvaf8xenv90tkt630a53jjvqzypedqpuy2f64hyf6dg4ez7ty0ms4e0378etggze4j08rc563vmn9qw9rq5a Out of all the third-party Android keyboards I've tried, FUTO Keyboard is by far the best. 2026-05-11T14:19:50Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsgh6nvjphz27eqlv3e75zhdhcd8mp076u0quz5x827vezyg3jdw6szypedqpuy2f64hyf6dg4ez7ty0ms4e0378etggze4j08rc563vmn9q4p70x3 Gacha game fandom is the best. Not everything has to be useful or new or a significant improvement over an existing product. Often times satisfying the innate desire to create is all that's needed. 2025-08-11T07:32:15Z
